Iran reduced duties on goods imported from Kazakhstan

The Mazhilis deputies approved the interim agreement (signed on May 17, 2018) of Kazakhstan on free trade between the EEU countries and Iran at the plenary meeting.

“In accordance with the agreement, the Iranian side provided a reduction in import duties. Food products, steel bars, rails, batteries, etc. can be imported to the Iranian market at preferential tariffs. These products take up more than half of the current supply, ”said the Minister of National Economy of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Ruslan Dalenov.

Last year exports of goods to Iran * amounted to $ 426.8 million (-11.8% per year).
