The volume of credits in STB decreased by 1%, the share of credits in tenge increased from 74% to 79% of the total credits

Credits of STB RK at the end of January 2019 amounted to 12.5 trillion tenge – 0.6% less than in January 2018. A year earlier, an increase of 0.2% was recorded.

Annual growth in the credits volume of STB RK was observed in 13 regions of the Republic of Kazakhstan, as well as in the former South Kazakhstan Region, now in the Turkestan Region, and in Shymkent.

The greatest growth was observed in the Almaty region: by 24%, to 213.3 billion tenge.

The second place is occupied by the Atyrau region with an annual growth of 20%, to 391.1 billion tenge.

The East Kazakhstan region closes the top three leaders: an increase of 19.6%, to 471.2 billion tenge.

The credits portfolio of STB RK is dominated by credits in national currency, the share of which reached 79.4%, against 74.3% a year earlier. Credits in foreign currency amounted to 20.6% (a year earlier – 25.7%).
