The volume of trading in the securities market for the corresponding period increased immediately by 10 times.
Orgs on the Kazakhstan Stock Exchange in September of the current year ended with a cumulative amount of 12.2 trillion tenge, which is 20% more than a year earlier – 10.1 trillion tenge.
The growth of traded volume was mainly formed traditionally in the money market, where 79.1% of trading is concentrated. In this sector, the increase was 10% (877.4 billion tenge).
Along with the money market, in other sectors of the exchange, trading also ended with an increase in volume. In the securities market, trading amounted to 1.1 trillion tenge (an increase of almost 10 times), foreign currency – 1.4 trillion tenge (an increase of 10.4%).
In the dynamics of recent years, an uptrend in trading volume can be traced. Only in September 2016, the trades ended with a negative increase of 11.6% and a cumulative trade volume of 6.7 trillion tenge.
At the same time, from the beginning of 2018, trading volumes decreased by 1.8%, or 218.7 billion tenge.
The main index of the stock market – the KASE index – after a four-month fall, stopped the downward movement at the level of 2220.69 points.
Recall that for the period June-July of the current year, the stock exchange index fell by 12.3%.
